I LOVE baby showers! They are so fun to throw and I love going to them and seeing all of the cute little clothes and baby items. Everything is perfect and it just so fun knowing a little bundle of joy is on the way. I love seeing all the creative ideas people have for baby showers.

Recently, I have started creating baby shower invitations and other printables. I originally started out my design shop creating nursery and kids decor, and slowly expanded my shop into other items for the home. But…I love all things baby so I have decided to really focus on baby shower items in my Etsy shop.

I am so excited to offer my first free printable! For those that love planning and love to make lists, this free printable menu planner is a must have!

MY LOVE OF MAKING LISTS

I’ve always been a sucker for planners. And paper. And pens. And markers. Any sort of stationary. Anything and everything to do with writing things down and doodling. Seriously, I see a new planner or a new set of pens and I just have to buy them.

I LOVE lists! I am a huge to – do list person. I start every day off with a list and prioritize that list. I also do the same with our menu every week. There are weeks that are crazy and it doesn’t get done and I feel like we end up eating out if we don’t have a plan. And then we waste money and it feels like the entire week was a disaster…personally and financially. A plan is how we save money and save our sanity.

MEAL PLANNING

My husband is the cook in the house (we can both cook…he just enjoys it more than I do..I prefer to bake). A few nights a week he has to work late and these are the nights that I cook and I plan the meals accordingly. I try to make the list on Friday and do my shopping by Sunday night.

With this thought in mind, I decided to make a cute (and FREE) printable meal planner/shopping list sheet that I can use each week….and because I love it so much, I am offering it to you for free!

These days, it seems everyone is BUSY. We strive to have longer TO-DO lists and the longer our lists, the better we feel about ourselves. Our self esteem is based off how busy we keep ourselves and how busy we keep our families. Everyone is in a rush to glorify BEING BUSY.

I think this is especially true with moms and women in general. The more we can pile on our plates, the better we feel next to someone else.

Easter is almost here! Are you ready for the big day? We have yet to dye Easter eggs mostly because my husband has been out of town for his new job and we are anxiously waiting for him to come home. Today I plan on boiling the eggs and then tomorrow we will color them. The last few years we have colored them with cool whip and food coloring and that’s the plan again this year.
